Book group studies "Mother Teresa and Me"

A group of about thirty women gathered together to read my book Mother Teresa and Me: Ten Years of Friendship at Sacred Heart in Havertown, PA. Their study group called "A Space for Grace" consisted of one Religious nun and 29 lay women.

They said they "thoroughly enjoyed this book."

On the last night of their book group study they were asked, "Has this book changed you in any way?" All said, "YES" and enjoyed a lively discussion that night. Some expressed interest in the Missionaries of Charity.

Many had said that in the eight years that they had gathered for discussion" this was the best" book that they discussed.

Thank you for your feedback ladies. I pray that dear Blessed Mother Teresa will guide you throughout your lives.

God bless!

Holy Week and Holy Triduum

I've been quiet here this Holy Week. It's been a week filled with many things including family, grace, prayer, writing work, and much more. I hope your week has been filled with grace.

We are already here at Holy Saturday after passing through a prayerful and penitential Holy Thursday and Good Friday.

Now, we wait...

Talk to you soon. Have a blessed Holy Saturday!

Lenten Reflection

Here's a great Lenten reflection bty Fr. Benedict Groeschel: http://www.ewtn.com/faith/lent/

Spring has Sprung!

Beautiful daffodils have made their way up through the spring soil around our house. It's so nice to see the ground now and the snow all melted. It has been a very long winter, indeed! I love the sounds of the birds singing all around and seeing the signs of this beautiful spring season upon us.

My artist daughter Chaldea's painting
There is a lot in store in this new season of grace. We are more than halfway through Lent already too - hard to believe. I hope that your Lenten season has been fruitful and grace-filled. I'll try to post some spring posts and articles soon. I have been very busy with speaking events and book writing.

In the meantime, how's your Lent going?

What are your spring plans? How do you celebrate this season of re-birth? Do you do any planting with the kids?

I can't wait for the lilacs to come out around Mother's day! They are my favorite and bring back such fond memories of my childhood.

Now, I must get back to my book writing...

God bless!
