"Marriage is an act of will that signifies and involves a mutual gift, which unites the spouses and binds them to their eventual souls, with whom they make up a sole family - a domestic church."~Bl. Pope John Paul II

Please pray for our Holy Father
I hadn't heard about this. Maybe since I've been sick since Christmas. Please click here to see what happened to Pope Benedict XVI.
It is unnerving to watch, isn't it? We were watching the beginning of the Holy Father's Mass when suddenly the Swiss guards began running towards the back of the basilica. We knew that something had happened. They say she was just trying to hug him but the way she grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and dragged him to the ground is horrible to see. It is a good thing he did not break his nose or get badly hurt. So awful.
Yes, very unnerving. Thank God Pope Benedict is fine. Thank God he has great security too, but he's always vulnerable and can get hurt at any time. We must pray for him constantly. I can't believe that the person who attacked him said she was trying to hug him. She must be either lying or deranged. We have to pray for her too.

ReplyDeleteWe should probably pray for her as well.
Thanks, Jennifer. We definitely should pray for her too. How sad that she did this last year too.
