First and foremost educator

Love for Laundry: Folding Hail Mary’s
Laundry: a never-ending task,
Looming over me, growing beside me,
Requiring my time and lots of energy.
How can a mother embrace this job?
Quietly, I pray.
Folding my family’s clothes,
I think of them and of you, Lord.
Thankful for this blessing;
The awesome privilege
Of caring for them!

Happy Feast Day to you, as well, my friend! Our middle son's birthday is today. Since he was a boy, we couldn't name him after our Lady, but we gave him his middle name after her beloved spouse. It was funny that we had already decided on a first name, but couldn't decide on a middle name until he was born on her special day. I'm sure that pleased her.
