Love for Laundry: Folding Hail Mary’s
Laundry: a never-ending task,
Looming over me, growing beside me,
Requiring my time and lots of energy.
How can a mother embrace this job?
Quietly, I pray.
Folding my family’s clothes,
I think of them and of you, Lord.

Donna, God is definitely using you to bring His light to more people than would have been possible if you'd stayed within the confines of your home. You are a light -- thank you! I am reading your book right now, "The Domestic Church Room by Room." It is such a wise offering of God's love and a sharing of His mind with and for mothers. Thank you for writing it!

Thank you very much, Roxane. I really pray that the series will help to uphold the dignity of women, especially mothers who feel battered by our brazen society. We can all use some encouragement and Catholic Mom camaraderie.
